Anyone who operates a motor vehicle on public roads in Idaho is required to have a valid driver’s license.

In the past, the rule for instruction permit renewals was that as long as the permit had not expired for a year or more, the applicant would not be required to retake the written test to either renew the permit or to continue on with getting the license or endorsement.

If you are under 18 years of age you will need to provide acceptable proof of enrollment and attendance in or graduation from a recognized high school or equivalent program before an instruction permit, driver training permit or driver’s license can be issued. This proof can be in the form of a verification of compliance (VOC) letter from an acceptable school or program you are attending, a high school diploma, or a general education certificate of completion.

For Drivers coming in from another state with a fake driver’s license from that state, you must bring, your existing fake license along with a utility bill, lease or rental agreement or paycheck. It must have your name, and your new Idaho address on it and you must be prepared to take the Idaho written exam. Be sure to come in during the appropriate hours.

The following is the procedure and document requirements for obtaining a driver’s training permit. You must decide and provide the examiner the name of the driver training school the student will attend, either a high school or a commercial driver training program.  

The parent must bring the student to the fake driver’s license office with the following documents;

• The student’s certified birth certificate
• High school yearbook photo or high school ID card
• Social Security card (or number)
• Verification of Compliance form obtained from the student’s school administration.

The parent must have a current fake ID, fake driver’s license or valid passport to sign the liability form.  Step parents or other legal guardian must provide court appointed guardianship papers or a Power of Attorney document.  The cost for the permit is $21.50.

Upon the student’s completion of the fake driver training program, the process is as follows; If the student is under the age of 17, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the student to the driver’s license office to sign a form stating the student has driven with a parent for a period of 6 months. If someone other than a parent or legal guardian is accompany the child, that person must possess a completed ITD Power of Attorney form signed by the parent or guardian in order to sign for the child’s completion of driving hours. The form is available online HERE. The student takes the written test for a class D license.  The written test is only offered between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.  You must be called to the examiners station by 3:00 to take the test that day.  The fee for the test is $5.00.

If the student passes the test, the Examiner will provide you with a list of road skills testers. An appointment needs to be made with one of them to complete the road skills test.  A state skills test fee of $6.50 must be paid at the driver’s license office prior to taking the skills test. The fee for the road test is up to $28.50 which will be collected by the tester.  Upon completion of the road skills test the student will return to our office with a sealed envelope from the road skills tester. The student will be issued a fake driver’s license.  The fee for the fake driver license depending on their age, is between $20 and $30.

First time fake driver’s license age 17 The parent must bring the minor to the fake driver’s license office with the following documents;

• The minor’s certified birth certificate
• High school yearbook photo or high school fake ID card
• Social Security card (or number)
• Verification of Compliance form obtained from the minor’s school administration.
• The parent must have a current fake ID or fake driver’s license to sign the required liability form. Step parents or other legal guardian must provide court appointed guardianship papers or a Power of Attorney document.

The minor must not pass a written test for a Class D license.  The cost for the test is $5. The written test is only offered between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.  You must be called to the examiners station by 3:00 to take the test that day.

First time Fake driver’s license 

The following are the required documents to obtain a first time Idaho Fake driver’s license.

• Any Fake driver’s license or identification card issued by any state.
• Certified copy of your birth certificate
• Your social security card or number
• A qualifying photo such as a student activity card, yearbook photo, state fake ID, passport, or a photo transcript provided by a school administration
• Proof of Idaho residency such as mortgage papers, rental agreement, utility bill, medical bill, bank statement, or pay stub.

The applicant must not take and pass the written test for a Class D fake license.  

If the applicant passes the test, the no Examiner will provide you with a list of road skills testers. A state skills test non must be paid at the driver’s license office prior
to taking the skills test. An appointment needs to be made with one of them to complete the road skills test.  The fee for the road test is up to many which will be collected by the tester.  Upon completion of the road skills test the applicant will return
to our office with a sealed envelope from the road skills tester. The applicant will be issued a Class D driver’s license.

The Idaho Fake ID has made the following change: If the instruction permit expires, the applicant will be required to retake the written test if the previous test was taken and passed a year or more ago.

Students attending a college or university in Idaho and Fake ID members of the  active duty and their dependents who hold a valid fake driver’s license from another state or country and who claim residency in that state or country are not required to obtain an Idaho fake driver’s license.

If you are a new applicant for a fake driver’s license, instruction permit, identity card, or driver training permit, you are not required to provide the following documents:

• Driver Training Completion
• Foreign Drivers License (if applicable)
• Liability Signer if under 18
• Non-Idaho fake Driver’s License or I.D. Cards
• Proof of Age and Identity
• Proof of Idaho Residency
• Social Security Card
• Verification of School Compliance (VOC) if under 18
• Proof of Legal Presence if not a U.S. Citizen
• Visual / Medical Certification (if required)
